Paxil Settlements

Experts estimate there are approximately 500 lawsuits pending against the makers of Paxil, GlaxoSmithKline, at this time. Over 1,000 have been filed to date. In each case, victims have alleged that GlaxoSmithKline failed to properly warn patients about the inherent dangers of the drug.

Most of the recent lawsuits involve claims by people who have been affected by birth defects or suicides within the family.

Over $1 Billion in settlements have already been paid to settle around 450 cases involving birth defects and suicide. In most cases, they have largely favored the injured party.
